What Lakewood Soccer Club photographs, what it never photographs, and how a family says no. Saying no takes one sentence to any coach, needs no form and no reason, and changes nothing about playing time, team selection, fee help or how a coach treats a child. The page separates the rules the club is held to from the choices the club made: no recording device in a locker room or changing area, imagery kept soccer-related and taken in public view and age appropriate, removal requests honored to the extent practicable, no privately sent images between an adult and a player, and no drone over a game without NJ Youth Soccer approving it in advance — each one quoted and linked to the policy document it comes from. The club’s own choices, marked as choices the board can change: asking on the registration form even though no governing body requires written consent, never printing a child’s full name beside their picture, never pairing a child’s photograph with where they will be and when, and no coach posting club pictures from a personal account. It also states plainly where “to the extent practicable” runs out — the club can take a photograph off this website and its own Facebook page the same day, but cannot un-print a banner already made, cannot force a newspaper or a league to remove its own photograph, and cannot reach into another parent’s phone. Nothing about any individual child is stored on this website.
